Buffalo at Pittsburgh

The teams have split two meetings this season with Buffalo winning the rematch 3-2 on Nov. 24. The Sabres have lost six of 10 although they got a 6-1 win over Montreal on Thursday. Pittsburgh has won six of eight following a 6-5 thriller over Boston when Sidney Crosby scored on a power play to snap a third-period tie after the teams combined for five goals in the first five minutes of the game. Alex Nedeljkovic gave up the five goals for Pittsburgh, but Tristan Jarry is expected in net for the Penguins tonight and he is 11-11-2 with a 2.57 GAA and .913 save percentage with four shutouts. Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen is 7-8-2 with a 3.13 GAA and an .893 save percentage for the Sabres, who are 5-14 as underdogs. Buffalo has lost 11 of 16 road games and the Sabres are 8-23 at Pittsburgh.
