New York has won the last three meetings as both teams will try to snap a three-game losing streak. Buffalo has scored a total of just one goal its last three games while being outscored 11-1, including a 3-0 defeat to Montreal on Friday night. It was the first road win in eight games for the Canadiens as the Sabres couldn't get anything past goalie Antti Niemi, who made 35 saves. The Rangers haven't had trouble scoring, but need to clamp down defensively following a 4-3 loss at Philadelphia. Henrik Lundqvist is questionable with a back injury and Alexander Georgiev is expected in goal tonight. Georgiev has a 3-3-1 record and .918 save percentage. The Sabres are 2-6 their last eight meetings at New York and 5-16 the last 21 meetings overall and they have lost 56 of their last 80 games dating to last season. Play the Rangers.
