Buffalo has won four of six meetings against Calgary overall and five of the past six road meetings with the Flames, who have lost seven of nine against Eastern Conference opponents. The Sabres come off a 3-2 win over Vancouver on Tuesday when Jiri Kulich had a goal and two assists to back Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen, who stopped 32 shots. Luukkonen improved to 15-14-4 on the season with a 2.99 goals-against average and he is probable for this game. Calgary just completed a four-game trip and won two of them. The Flames have lost five straight Thursday games and they are 1-7 their past eight versus Atlantic Division opponents. Take the Sabres.
