Buffalo at Boston

The Sabres were a red-hot team going nine games with just one going into the loss column, but they have cooled off and over their last three games they have dropped two out of three. They have been doubled-up in the scoring column as they have been out-scored 10-5 in the three games. The Bruins have had problems finding the net of late, but Buffalo is starting to give it up. The Bruin defense and goaltending has been superb of late allowing just 7 goals in the last five games, or 1.4 per contest. This will be the Sabres' third game in four nights, a situation that has not treated them kindly. The last 30 times they have been in the 3- in-4 situation, they are just 8-22. Boston has been a cash cow vs. the Northeast where they stand at 21-5 in their last 26. Bruins get this one.
