Buffalo at Atlanta

The Sabres started out on the right foot, winning their opener.  They soon lost their way and have now gone winless in their last five. The good news is they aren't getting blown out as each of their last four losses have been by a single goal. The Thrashers may be 3-2, but they own just a single goal advantage over their opponents at 17-16 for the season. The Sabres are playing into their healthiest spots as they have won five straight vs the Southeast and have now gone 8-3 after three days rest, plenty of time to get the ship back on course. The Thrashers have dropped their last four as a home favorite, a aood spot for the Sabres here.  Buffalo gets the nod.
