Boston at Washington

The Capitals have been doing just enough to get it done early in the season, as they enter tonight's game vs. the Bruins at 4-1. They split their first two and have won three straight all by a single goal. Two of their three wins required overtime, so the margin for error so far has been razor thin. Boston is 2-1, opening the season with Tuuka Rask in the net, but after allowing 5 goals, Tim Thomas has manned the net with some great results. Thomas has allowed just a single goal in the two games and is hot right now. Washington went for a 7-goal outburst in their second game, but the other four have not seen over 6 goals scored, and in the last three, a total of 13 despite the fact that two of them made it to overtime. Thomas is hot behind the net and the Bruins are capitalizing and certainly look like a live dog here. Boston has been 4-1 after a win in their last five, going back to last year. The Bruins are an amazing 38-8-5 to the UNDER on the road vs. a team with a home winning percentage over .600. I like Boston to win the game and keep the score UNDER the total.
