Boston at Washington

The Washington Capitals will raise their championship banner and get their rings tonight and what's even better is that they have almost the same cast as last season although with a new coach in Todd Reirden. Alex Ovechkin led the league in scoring and he recorded 15 goals and 27 points in the postseason and center Evgeny Kuznetsov had a career-high 83 points in the regular season and 32 more in the playoffs. Eleven of the top 12 forwards return as well as the top four defensemen. Reirden was an assistant with the Caps for several years so we shouldn't expect a major adjustment period. Braden Holtby got off to a bad start last season, but found his groove when he replaced Philipp Grubauer in the middle of the playoffs and led the team to a title, including a key stick save in Game 2 of the final against the Vegas Golden Knights. Boston is 0-6 the last six meetings at Washington and 6-21 the last 27 meetings overall. The Bruins lost eight of their last 10 road games. Take the Capitals.
