A 3,000 mile road trip for a Boston team short on defense, #19 in goals allowed. They've been able to make a move to the top spot in the Atlantic Division, but this defense is still thin and creaky. It's also a bad matchup against a sizzling San Jose squad on a 10-5 run ranked fourth in goals scored, fifth on the power play with good balance, #15 in goals allowed. San Jose is off Saturday's 5-2 impressive home win over the Capitals, and the Sharks are 41-15 at home against a team with a road winning percentage of greater than .600. The Bruins are 0-3-0 this season against San Jose, Anaheim and Los Angeles and goalie Tuukka Rask has dropped his last two games against the Sharks allowing 12 goals. Play San Jose.
