Boston at Philadelphia

The Bruins are off to a slow start, so one of two things has happened. They are in their typical early season funk as last year they had a losing record after 11 games before taking off on a 24-3 run, or they simply aren't as good this season. Either way, it is a good time to play against them. The Flyers have dropped their last three, and after a brief trip to Florida will be back home for this one. The Bruins have had their problems in back-to-back games as they are just 2-5 in the second of two on consecutive nights. The Flyers have been a good bounce-back team off a poor offensive showing putting together a 15-6 mark after scoring two goals or less in their previous game. The Flyers have dropped their last four at home to the Bruins, so they will be bringing it here. Last year, they didn't get a chance to play the Bruins early as the first meeting didn't occur until February. This is a good spot for the Flyers, who get the call in this one.
