Boston was getting an unsustainable pace behind Tim Thomas in the net. Thomas, over his first six starts, allowed just three goals. He has now allowed eight in his last three games and faces a Flyer's team that is sizzling on offense having produced 42 goals in their last ten games. The Flyers, in their nine home wins on the season, have won seven of the nine by two goals or more, so taking them on the puckline at better than 2-1 odds certainly offers some value here. They are also 7-0 at home as a home favorite in their last seven from -110 to -150. Good spot for the puckline. I like Philly here, on the puckline.
