Boston at New Jersey

Boston has owned the Devils in recent years winning eight of the last 10 meetings and 26 of the last 33. The Bruins are favored to win the East Division with a great goaltending tandem in Tuukka Rask and Jaroslav Halak, and one of the top first lines in the NHL in Brad Marchand, David Pastrnak and Patrice Bergeron. Although I should note that Pastrnak is out until February while recovering from hip surgery. Rask is expected to be in goal tonight and he led the league with a 2.12 goals-against average and was second with a .929 save percentage. The Devils haven't played since March 10 because they weren't in the bubble and they have a new coach in Lindy Ruff, who previously was a head coach with Buffalo and Dallas. The Devils had high hopes going into last season, but it didn't work out so they're rebuilding again. Mackenzie Blackwood will be in net after finishing with a 2.72 GAA in 2019-20. Play the Bruins.
