Boston at Carolina

Often times we see teams off a Championship season open the following season with a hangover.  It seems to take some time to get things going. The Bruins, despite having their first three at home, won just one of them and were shutout by the Colorado Avalance in their last one. Cam Ward has not been good early for Carolina, but with the Bruins are in town and I expect the entire team to be up for this one. The Bruins will find, at least early, every team is going to bring their "A" game to take down the Champion, especially when they are at home. Eric Staal has been a pest to the Bruins with 25 points in 28 career games vs. the B's. The Bruins closed last season at just 1-5 on the road and face a tougher task this season with everyone gunning for them. I like Carolina in this one.
