Boston is a talented team off one its most disappointing performances of the season, a 3-1 loss at Philly. Their depth got better as they activated Johnny Boychuk Saturday against the Flyers and the Bruins are 13th in the NHL in goals scored, 3rd in goals allowed, with the No. 1 penalty killing unit. It was a very good team having a bad game in a bounce back spot today, and the Bruins are 35-17 against the Northeast division, plus 7-2 in their last nine versus a team with a losing record. Boston is 10-6-2 on the road, while Buffalo is .500 at home. Buffalo is a weak all around team, lacking skill and ranked 19th in goals scored, 26th in goals allowed with two of the worst specialty units in the game. The Sabres are on a 4-9 run, 7-19 when playing on no days rest and 6-18 when playing their fourth game of a 4-in-6 situation. Take Boston in this one.
