Atlanta at Pittsburgh

The Stanley Cup runner-up Penguins are having all kinds of problems and have now not tasted victory in their last five games. They have won just four times in their last 15 games, so they are a huge favorite by name, not performance. The Thrashers have had their own problems, but so have many of the teams coming into Pittsburgh of late, most notably Tampa Bay, who was 1-12 coming to Pittsburgh and shutout the Penguins 2-0. The Thrashers have rebounded well off a bad game as they are 4-1 in their last five after losing by three goals or more. The Penguins, as bad as they have been playing, are an even worse 26-55-2 when playing the second of back-to-back nights. The Thrashers get the call here.
