The Buffalo Sabres have yet to taste defeat as they are off to a 4-0-1 start and are playing great hockey right now. After dropping the opener in OT, the Sabres have rattled off four straight wins. Ryan Miller has had the hot hand in goal allowing just 1.59 goals a game and has saved 94%. The Thrashers have been playing some good hockey of their own, but this will now make for their third in a row on the road, and also marks them playing on consecutive nights - a situation that has not agreed with them. The Thrashers, in the second game on consecutive nights, has been just 16-35 and have won just once in their last five tries against a team with a .600+ home winning percentage. The Sabres are taking down the good teams at home, standing in at 12-5 against teams with a winning percentage of .600 or higher. The Sabres win their fifth straight tonight.
