Arizona at St. Louis

The St. Louis Blues would be hard pressed to maintain the level of play they did over the period of just better than a month. Just about everything they did came up roses and they went on a 12-1 tear, with the only loss a 3-2 overtime decision. The offense was spot on and produced a total of 54 goals in the 13 games, averaging over 4 per contest. That pace couldn't sustain itself and right now the Blues are feeling the blues, dropping their last two games, and the sizzling offense has come to a screeching halt, scoring just 3 total goals in the two losses. The door is open for an Arizona team that has emerged from the basement and a 1-8 run over nine games to play at a much more competitive level. The Coyotes are 4-3 in their last seven games, and in the four wins have allowed 6 total goals. I think they are catching St. Louis coming down from the mountain peak, as they themselves have been playing at a much more competitive level. The Coyotes are 4-1 in their last five road games, and have had an elongated history of playing low-scoring games on the road vs. elite home teams (those better than .600) where they are 48-23-9 to the UNDER in their last 80. The last six times these clubs have met in St. Louis not a single one has been able to eclipse the total, and I expect more of the same here. Take play on Arizona and the UNDER.
