Phoenix has been playing poorly and has just three wins to show for their last 13 games. Ironically, two of the last three road games have resulted in victory. The offense, which produced just 11 goals in a seven-game stretch, has now come to life as they have pushed the puck through the net 20 times in the last six games or 3.3 a contest, as opposed to their anemic 1.6. Nashville's offensive problems have not been resolved as they have put the puck in the net just 74 times in their last 44 games for a pathetic 1.68 average per game. The Predators scored five in their last game and you would think that bodes well for their offense, but the opposite has been true as they are just 1-5 after scoring five or more. The Phoenix offense is clicking and that makes them a live dog here against the punchless Predators.
