Arizona at Detroit

The Red Wings have had trouble scoring almost the entire season and it has shown up in the win/loss column for the past several years as this team is struggling more than we have seen them in the recent past. Blame an offense that has scored just 27 goals in their last 14 games, or under two per game. The defense has not allowed much more either, just 33 or 2.35 per game. It certainly is the reason that the Red Wings have now played to the UNDER in 12 of their last 14. It isn't likely that the offense gets healthy vs. a Phoenix team that has allowed just 13 goals in their last eight games, or 1.6 per game. The Phoenix offense isn't responding any better than Detroit as they have 49 goals in their last 21 games – just 2.33 per game. Both of these teams are getting great support behind the net and neither able to score. I'll play this one UNDER the total.
