The Detroit Red Wings closed the regular season at 4-7 in their last 11 games, and many saw it as a sign they could be in trouble vs. the Coyotes in their opening-round series. The opener displayed what the Red Wings do well in the postseason. Detroit is now 28-10 at home in their last 38 postseason games. That can be contrasted by the Phoenix Coyotes, who always seem to have trouble getting out of the first round when they make a playoffs appearance. Phoenix is now a staggering 8-20 in their last 28 quarterfinal playoffs games. Detroit has both the pedigree and momentum here for game two, so play on Detroit to take game two.
