Since the flaming hot start Dallas has been a less than .500 team, and their recent play has been even worse at 9-12 over their last 21. Phoenix, despite recent road woes, has been a well-balanced team home or away, and have a winning road record to show for the season. The Stars’ lack of consistency shows the perils of a .500 type team as they are 2-7 following a win in their last nine, and just 1-6 in their last seven after allowing 2 goals or less in their last game. This is a toss-up game and odds go with the dog here, so play on Phoenix.
