Arizona at Colorado

The Colorado Avalanche have been a hot and cold team. They have built their season around a four game, and a six-game winning streak. Removed from the streaks, this team is 11-18. Right now they have dropped six of their last eight, scoring under 2 goals a game in the process. The Coyotes have not fared much better of late as they are 3-5 in their last eight, but they have gotten healthy against teams from the Northwest where they have put together an 18-6 mark in their last 24. The Avalanche is just 3-8 in their last 11 vs. a team with a losing record, and 0-4 vs. a team that allowed 2 or less in their last game. I’m backing Phoenix in this one.
