The Colorado Avalanche have had issues in the early going of the season on the offensive end. while they have had brief moments scoring four goals and six goals in a pair of games, the rest of the offensive resume is bare. The Avalanche has produced a meager 11 goals in their other eight games at just 1.4 a contest. It is hard to trust a team that has had such limited offensive success in the bulk of their games. Phoenix has had some big games defensively with three shutouts and are off of one in their last game. They should be able to shutdown the weak Avalanche attack.
