Arizona at Anaheim

A new regime begins in Anaheim as it has a new coach in Dallas Eakins. The Ducks tried to get younger as they start a rebuilding process that they hope won't take long. The Ducks finished out of the playoffs for the first time in seven years mostly due to a lack of scoring, however, much of that was due to injuries and they have some young players ready to step in this season. John Gibson also missed some time with an injury and he finished with a .917 save percentage and 2.84 goals-against average. Ryan Miller is the backup after appearing in 20 games with a 2.76 GAA. Arizona hopes to be past the rebuilding phase especially with the addition of winger Phil Kessel. The goaltending will be split between Darcy Kuemper (2.33 GAA) and Antti Raanta (2.88). The Coyotes are 46-95 their last 141 road games. The edge goes to Anaheim at home, so play the Ducks.
