Anaheim at Vegas

Vegas begins its fourth season expecting once again to win a championship, and the Golden Knights picked up a key free agent in defenseman Alex Pietrangelo to bolster their chances. The Knights lost to Dallas in the the 2019-20 playoffs due to scoring a total of only eight goals in five games and wasting a great effort by goalie Robin Lehner as the Stars scored just nine goals themselves. Lehner will be the No. 1 goaltender this season while splitting time with Marc-Andre Fleury. Lehner boasted a 1.99 goals-against average in the playoffs and he was 3-0 for the Knights in the regular season after he was acquired in a trade with Chicago. Anaheim suffered through another season offensively scoring only 2.56 goals per game for #29 in the league and not much more is expected this season. Vegas has won seven of the last eight meetings.
