Anaheim at San Jose

San Jose was saddled with that awful schedule to start the year, mostly on the road. They play their fourth straight home game here and coach Todd McLellan is asking the team to play with a greater sense of urgency. They are talented and will turn it around. They are a group that tied for second in the NHL with 29 home wins on the way to 111 points in 2013-14. The Sharks are 9-0 when playing on two days rest, plus 48-22 in their last 70 home games. Anaheim had to play last night and is off Friday's 4-1 home loss to Chicago. The Ducks are 1-4 when following a loss of 3 goals or more. When these Western rivals meet the home team is 6-1 in the last seven meetings and the Ducks are 2-6 in the last eight meetings, including 0-5 in San Jose. San Jose takes this one.
