Anaheim at Pittsburgh

The Anaheim Ducks will cross the country for their opener as they take on the Pittsburgh Penguins. Anaheim finished 1 point shy  from claiming the President's Trophy for the most points achieved during the regular season last year. They hope to claim that trophy as well as the Stanley Cup, and they added a big piece in the offseason in Ryan Kesler. The Penguins completed last season's home schedule at 28-9-4, and are tough here, but Anaheim has shown the ability to win on the road as they were 25-12-4 last year. The Ducks can score, and led the NHL last season, averaging 3.2 goals per contest, and have the firepower to get it done tonight. Anaheim closed at 20-9 on the road last year in their last 29, while Pittsburgh finished 1-4 in their last five vs. the Pacific last season. Take Anaheim in this one.
