This line represents tremendous value in our minds as everything points to the Red Wings yet we don't lay very much. Detroit is an amazing team at home. This season they are 34-13 here scoring 3.5 goals per game and allowing just 2.0. In the playoffs, they have held opponents overall to just 1.6 goals per game thanks to the Nicklas Lidstrom (top defensemen last year) and Dominik Hasek (six time Vezina Trophy winnner). Anaheim has also been playing great defense in the playoffs (two Norris Trophy finalists in Scott Niedermayer and Chris Pronger) and they are a decent road team. But, can they really stick with the Red Wings at home? We think not. The Ducks are just 4-2-20 in their last 26 trips to Detroit including 0-4 the past three seasons. Detroit is 16-4 this season at home vs. winnning teams including 11-2 vs. the elite clubs that outscore their opponents by 0.5+ goals per game. Detroit's coach Mike Babcock was leading Anaheim a few years back and he obviously knows this club well. In Detroit, Babcock is 52-27 vs. winning teams. Go Red Wings!
