Detroit has lost five of six as injuries appear to have caught up with the Red Wings, who have been without Dylan Larkin the past four games and they scored a total of only five goals their past four losses. Ville Husso replaced Alex Lyon, who was injured in the second period of Saturday's 1-0 loss to Philadelphia and Husso likely will be in net tonight with a 9-5-2 record and 3.47 GAA. John Gibson has done his usual solid work with a 2.84 GAA and .906 save percentage but, as usual, hasn't gotten a lot of support from his skaters. The Ducks did beat New Jersey 5-1 on Sunday when Adam Henrique recorded his first NHL hat trick and Gibson had 18 saves before exiting with an illness. Lukas Dostal stopped all 10 shots he faced in relief and he will get the call in this game if Gibson can't go. Detroit has lost five straight playing with one day of rest. Take the Ducks.
