Anaheim at Colorado

Colorado comes off two HUGE wins against the rival Canucks. Riding on the emotion of the crowd the Av's played great Defense and scored plenty. The Av's have had plenty of time to come down from the emotional high with a 4 day rest. The Av's are 2nd in the league with a 4.45 GFA and are 4th with 49 total goals. The Ducks in comparison are 14th with a 3.15 GFA and 10th in the league with 41 goals. However the Quacks have played two more games in then the Av's and they still trail. The Ducks are on a 4 game winning streak but look at the teams they have played Calgary, St. Louis, Pheonix and Nashville. The best being Nashville who are extremely over-rated, having lost 4 straight. The Av's on the other hand have won 4 out of their past 5. Two against Edmonton and two against Vancouver. The Avalanche are 18-9-6 versus Anaheim since 1996. Another trend that I found interesting was the fact that Anaheim is 1-12 in road games after scoring 4 goals or more in their previous game over the last 3 seasons. Colorado will continue their winning streak tonight and snap the Ducks. Take the Avs for one star.
