Florida Panthers vs Los Angeles Kings

Los Angeles is 25-16-3 UNDER and four of the past six meetings with the Panthers have gone UNDER. Florida is on a 10-5 UNDER run overall and the Panthers are 5-2 UNDER against the Pacific Division. The Kings have not allowed more than one goal in five of eight games and they have averaged just two goals themselves in that span. Los Angeles goalie Darcy Kuemper has a 2.10 goals-against average and a .920 save percentage. Florida's likely starter Spencer Knight owns a 2.45 GAA and a .905 save percentage with two shutouts this season. The Kings have stayed UNDER four of five versus the Atlantic Division. Los Angeles has won the past six meetings, including 2-1 on Nov. 16 in the only meeting this season so it's a great opportunity for the Kings to snap their losing streak at six games. The Kings have struggled on the offensive end and that has been the main cause of the losing streak and they come off a 3-2 overtime loss to Tampa Bay on Tuesday night. Cam Talbot stopped 26 of 29 shots and he is having a solid season in his first year with Los Angeles as he owns a 14-9-4 record and 2.20 goals-against average and a .922 save percentage with two shutouts. Florida is on an eight-game win streak, but is only a small favorite in this game as the Kings have had the Panthers' number the past couple years. Look for that trend to continue. Winners of five straight, the Florida Panthers offense has taken charge, scoring four-plus goals in four of the five wins. The Los Angeles Kings are on the third game of a four-game homestand but they have dropped the first two, allowing four goals in each game. That is not a good recipe vs. a Florida team whose power play is heating up (4-for-7 in the past two games) and usually rises to the level of competition they're facing.
