Arizona Cardinals vs Carolina Panthers

The Cardinals go on the road this week against Carolina, which got its first win in 10 games dating to last season 22-14 over New Orleans. The Panthers though were fortunate as defensive end Marquis Haynes returned a fumble 44 yards for a touchdown and Laviska Shenault caught a 67-yard TD pass from Baker Mayfield, who completed only 12 of 25 for 170 yards. However, Shenault is doubtful for this game with a hamstring injury and Christian McCaffrey, as usual, is questionable. Also, Haynes is questionable with a knee injury. They'll also focus on running because the team can't pass, stuck with QB Sam Darnold (7 TDs, 11 INTS), who looks worse each week. Carolina (7-2 UNDER the total) has scored 28 total points in the last three games. While Carolina is on a 10-3 run UNDER, three of Arizona's four home games have gone UNDER. QB Kyler Murray, RB James Conner, and RB Chase Edmonds lead the ninth-ranked rushing attack in the NFL (fourth-best in the NFC), while the Cardinals' defense is No. 4 in yards allowed, No. 3 in points surrendered (17.2 pg), and No. 2 on third-down (31.73%). Arizona has become a fun team to watch as Kyler Murray has certainly upgraded the flat Arizona offense. He has thrown for 657 yards in his first two games. Meanwhile, Cam Newton has looked injured, and apparently he is. He is apparently trying to play through a foot injury. Through two games, Newton has five carries for -5 yards. This has resulted in a line change here of Carolina -3.5 to Carolina +2. It's an over-reaction, even if Cam doesn't play. Heck, at this point maybe Kyle Allen could provide a spark. Which QB is Arizona's defense preparing for? Despite Murray's gaudy stats, the Arizona offense has really struggled in the red zone as David Johnson hasn't gotten untracked yet. In their loss to Baltumore, the Cardinals settled for three field goals after getting inside Baltimore's 5-yard line. How will they do vs. Luke Kuechly and this Carolina defense?
