New Jersey has a new look and is becoming one of the up-tempo teams in the league. After opening the season scoring 91.7 points per game in their first seven, and playing to a 2-5 mark, the Nets have decided to play offense and with good results. They have since been 7-2, and the 91.7 ppg have become 110 ppg. That is a huge jump of 19 ppg, and the oddsmakers have yet to catch up to the drastic change. The Wizards have played three games against "up-tempo" teams - two against the Knicks and one against Golden State. Both of those games resulted in OVERS, with an average of 224.3 ppg total points scored. These teams met early in the season to a game played to 180 points, but this one will be completely different. The Nets are the new fast-paced run-and-gun team that no one knows about yet. This one goes OVER.
