Washington at Miami

Miami may be home, but they are a battered and bruised team and just 4-8 at home. The Heat lost forward Josh McRoberts (torn meniscus) likely for the season and Chris Bosh (calf strain) is out indefinitely. Miami is 0-7-1 ATS at home and 4-10 ATS playing on one day of rest. They've dropped four in a row and seven of eight at home following Wednesday's 105-87 loss to Utah. They face a young Washington squad that is for real, ranked #2 in the East. Washington has great balance at #16 in scoring and #6 in points allowed. The Wizards are winners of five straight and nine of 10, including a 21-point home blowout of Miami on Dec. 1, in which they buried 10-of-19 from three-point range. The Wizards are 13-5 ATS in their last 18 road games and hold all the cards. Take Washington in this one.
