Washington at Miami

Washington was victimized by hot-shooting Dallas yesterday in a 116-104 loss as the Mavericks shot 50 percent from the field. John Wall led the Wizards with 28 points, but injured his knee slightly, and he hopes to play tonight. Bradley Beal added 21 points, and Otto Porter scored 15 points and pulled down 11 rebounds. The Wizards shot only 8-for-27 from three-point range. Washington has split its last four games following a four-game losing streak, and the Wizard have covered the spread in three of their last five games. Miami is coming off an upset win over Cleveland as the Heat shot 54.4 percent from the field and held the Cavaliers to just 36.5 percent. Dwyane Wade and Tyler Johnson led the Heat with 19 points, and Goran Dragic added 17 points. The Wizards are 9-4 ATS their last 13 road games against teams with winning home records. Miami is just 13-36-2 ATS after a win dating to last season and only 5-16 ATS after a win of 10-plus points. The Heat is unlikely to continue to shoot at a 50 percent pace.
