The oddsmakers essentially have said this game is pretty close to a toss-up, allowing a home court margin for Memphis. I disagree. The Grizzlies were supposed to be a better team than the Wizards when the season started, but they were not. That has changed as Memphis has finally gotten things rolling at 12-4 over their last 16 games. And, the defense, which defines them, has picked up the pace. Washington has had trouble getting over the hump, hovering around the .500 mark where they are now most of the season. Playing .500 basketball in the weak Eastern Conference is not good enough to take to the road vs. a good Western Conference team that is starting to hit their stride. Dating back to last season, the Wizards are 4-22 straight-up on the road in expected low-scoring games (games with a total less than 191). This game may be close but I really like Memphis to win it. Take the Grizz on the moneyline.
