The Pacers blew a 20 point lead in a loss to the lowly Minnesota T-Wolves on Friday. Could they again be upset? Yes! This team has some real problems on defense. They are worst in the Eastern Conference allowing 104.8 points per game. At home, it's worse at 105.7. Washington is a team that can take advantage of it as they are scoring 100.5 per game, third-best in the conference. Unlike the Pacers who have allowed 130+ in two straight games, the Wizards are showing a newfound committment to defense. They have held their last six opponents under 100 and on average allowed just 89.8 ppg over that span. They will need to bring an awesome defensive performance here to get the win but we think they can do it. They can outscore the Pacers. Indiana is just 1-7 this season vs. up-tempo teams that average 83+ shots per game. Indiana is also 5-12 the past two seasons off a double-digit road loss. Washington for the outright win.
