Washington at Houston

The Washington Wizards opened the season at 0-12. All that did was hide the fact that this team is better, and just needed a confidence-building win. They lost a pair of games in overtime before finally breaking through, and are now 3-3 in their last six games. Houston is off back-to-back in-state rivalry games vs. Dallas and San Antonio - the last of which was a tough overtime loss to the Spurs. They are possibly without both Jeremy Lin and James Harden here, and either way, they will be without emotion after two tough emotional games. That is a danger spot with a big number and the Wizards are suddenly playing competitively and with confidence. A bad sign for Houston is off a game where they allowed 100+ as they are 4-14 ATS in their next game over their last 18 in that situation. Take the points and ride with Washington.
