Washington is now 1-1 for their new coach, and is coming off a blowout loss at Houston last night. However, take a closer look at what happened and the young Wizards played with passion and energy for nearly three quarters before falling at Houston. It was not the lifeless performances we saw under Flip Saunders. And the Wizards packed some positive vibes, laughter and enthusiasm in Coach Randy Wittman’s debut against Charlotte on Wednesday, a 92-75 rout. The Wizards are 4-1 ATS in their last five games as a favorite. This is another winnable game against that same horrible Charlotte team, one that is No. 26 in the NBA in points scored and No. 29 in points (100.5 points per game) allowed. While Washington has played very well in seven of its last eight quarters, Charlotte has lost seven in a row and four in a row by double digits, losing by 10, 33, 17 and 17 points. The New York Knicks have won only one game the last eight, and that was over Charlotte by 33 points! The Bobcats are just 1-6 ATS in their last seven home games. Play on Washington.
