Washington at Brooklyn

Both of these teams have under-achieved their expectation at the beginning of the season. Each has failed to take advantage of the opportunities in the Eastern Conference that has shown a lot of bad teams to start the season. The Nets have come to life in recent games by going 4-1, and have finally started to defend as they have held four of their five opponents to 96 points or less - their best five-game defensive stretch of the season. The Wizards are not finding the offense over their last eight games, as they have averaged just 94.5 points per game in the stretch, and have been held in the 70s twice. The offense has struggled on the road in the longer term, as Washington is now 46-21 in their last 67 road games to the UNDER. Over the last seven in this series in Brooklyn have seen five of the seven play to the UNDER as well. The UNDER gets the call in this one.
