As it stands right now the Jazz have a 1.5 game lead on the Clippers for the fourth seed in the opening round of the Western Conference playoffs. This has been a heated series with tempers flaring. Things got testy in last meeting as the Jazz were facing a red-hot Clippers team that ended their nine game winning streak. The Clippers have been fading down the stretch and own a losing record in their last 17 contests. They have suffered seven of the nine losses in the stretch vs. teams that as of today would be in the playoffs. The Jazz are already in playoff mode, holding the majority of their last 17 opponents under 100-points. Defense prevails in a playoff type atmosphere, so take Utah in this one.
