Utah at Los Angeles

Utah escaped with a 97-95 win in Game 1 as Joe Johnson hit a shot at the buzzer. Now the Jazz face the prospect of playing without center Rudy Gobert, who averages 14.0 points and 12.8 rebounds per game. Johnson finished with 21 points and Gordon Hayward added 19 points and 10 rebounds for the Jazz. Blake Griffin led the Clippers with 26 points and Chris Paul added 25 points but their team was only 8-of-24 from three-point range. The game went UNDER by six points and Utah now has gone UNDER six of its last nine games while Los Angeles has stayed UNDER four of its last six contests and has kept its last four opponents under 100 points. The Jazz have covered just two of the last seven meetings and the Clippers are 4-1-1 ATS their last six games after an ATS loss and 5-2 ATS following any loss. Complacency is always a factor when a visiting team wins the first game of a playoff series while the losing team makes adjustments and is more focused. Look for Los Angeles to bounce back in this matchup with another good defensive effort.  Play the Clippers and the UNDER.
