Utah at Golden State

Utah doesn't play great  defense, which explains a 11-27 road record, 16th in points allowed and 21st in field goal shooting defense, plus one of the worst three-point defenses at 24th in the league. The Jazz snapped a nine-game road slide with a win at Portland on March 29 and will be making their first visit this season to Golden State, where the Warriors have won four of their last five (4-1 ATS).  The Jazz is 4-15 ATS in their last 19 road games against a team with a home winning percentage of greater than .600. While Utah is marginal on defense, Golden State has really impressed under second-year coach Mark Jackson, who has demanded better defense all season -- and gotten it, for the most part. They are fourth in the NBA in field goal shooting defense allowing opponents just .436% shooting. The Golden State Warriors occupy the No. sixth spot and will be trying to wrap up a playoff berth by knocking off Utah. The Warriors’ magic number to clinch is two, and holding off the Houston Rockets for the sixth spot is a priority. The Jazz are a half-game behind the Los Angeles Lakers for eighth so there is plenty of motivation to win AND play that great defense. The UNDER is 9-3 in the Warriors last 12 against the Western Conference. When these teams meet the UNDER is 13-2-1 in the last 16 meetings, including 7-1 UNDER the total in Golden State. Two plays: take the Warriors and the UNDER in this one.
