The Pistons have hit a bit of an offensive skid right now, but the defense remains one of the NBA's best. They have played 13 of their last 17 to the UNDER, with 11 opponents not getting out of the 80s, and their last eight home opponents were held to an average of just 83. Toronto defends well, as they are ranked No. 6 in the NBA in points allowed. They have also struggled against the top defensive teams as indicated by their 84 points at Boston, 83 at San Antonio, and 79 at Houston. Those are the No.1, No. 3, and No. 4 NBA teams in points allowed. Now they come to No. 2 Detroit, and we expect a very ugly, low-scoring game.
