Is there any way to slow down these Denver Nuggets? Denver went into Minnesota last night and took the Timberwolves' best shot, holding on for a 107-104 win. The loss really hurt Minnesota's playoff chances while keeping Denver alive in the race to move up the playoff ladder! The win gives Denver an amazing 20-2 SU mark (18-3-1) since the All Star break and the Nuggets are now just a half-game behind Houston for the sixth playoff spot in the West. The Kings, also winners tonight, remain two games up on Denver. Seattle, which has had a great season and will eventually clinch the Northwest Division (0-3 in tries so far!), is currently decimated by injuries. Fortson (7.7-5.8), Daniels (11.2) and Lewis (20.7) all missed this trip to Denver plus Radmanovic (11.8) has been on the IL sine mid-March! After giving up 117 points to the Lakers in Seattle last night in a 23-point loss, there is little reason to think this injury-ravaged club can slow down the RED-HOT Nuggets, who have topped 100 points in 14 of their last 17 games. Also, expect no mercy from Karl, who will facing his former team for the first time since landing the Denver top-spot.
