The season was full of promise for the Toronto Raptors, but at 16-17, things are starting to get away from them. They have played better of late, but it has been more of a factor of better shooting as the defensive woes continue to keep this team down. The Raptors are yielding 114.7 points per game in their last seven, and as a good size favorite, they are vulnerable here. The Spurs are under the radar and are still in contention for a playoff spot in the top-heavy NBA West. San Antonio had a woeful 3-13 start to the season, but they have been better than the Raptors since then at 10-8. The Spurs are averaging 120 points per game over its last nine and have the firepower to hang as a sizeable dog vs. a Toronto team that does not put forth the effort on the defensive end.
