The Spurs have broken their road futility by starting this road trip off at 7-0, extending their winning streak to 11 games. While for some looking at them as a dog on a big winning streak would make an immediate play on them, the fact is that teams on an 11-game winning streak or more and playing as a road dog are just 2-7 ATS, and 0-2 ATS if their opponent is playing with revenge. The reality, in turn, is that there is not an advantage to the streak, if anything there is a disadvantage. Portland is in their sweet spot as they are 6-1-1 ATS in their last eight at home as a favorite of -6 or less.
