San Antonio at Portland

San Antonio has not played effectively well in recent games. Tony Parker continues to nurse an ailing hamstring, and then there is the Tim Duncan issue. Duncan played a season high 40 minutes on Friday, and went 32 minutes in the altitude in Denver last night. Duncan has sat out three of the six games on the second of back-to-back nights, and was ineffective in the three he did play in. I think San Antonio will pace this game because of the personnel issues, and they certainly can get after it on the defensive end. Portland, after reaching the century mark in 13 of 17 games, has done so just one time in their last four while still being solid on the defenesive end holding 11 of their last 15 opponents under 100. These teams have a lot of scoring potential, but recent play and circumstances indiacte that won't be the case tonight. Make the play on the UNDER.
