Phoenix surely needs this game, but I think their opponent here doesn't take nights off and the line has simply been placed out of balance. They are underestimating the Spurs as a team that simply plays hard regardless of the circumstances. The Spurs have the most dominating eight game stretch the NBA has seen in years, averaging over 116ppg and at the same time allowing opponents to reach the century mark just one time. I doubt they want to pull the plug here and lose momentum. The Spurs have also failed to cover just one time in their last 13 following a 10+ point win and are 33-15-4 ATS in their last 52 as a favorite. Meanwhile the are Suns sitting at 4-9-1 ATS in their last 14 at home vs. a team with a winning record. In addition, the Spurs have grabbed the cash in four of the last five. Play on San Antonio.
