The Oklahoma City Thunder looked like a team headed in the same direction as 20 previous Spur's opponents - coming up empty. They broke through in Game 3 and broke the invincibility, gained confidence, and now have a 3-2 series lead looking to close out the Spurs at home tonight. San Antonio has a mission here, and that is to bring the series back to San Antonio. To accomplish that, they know they have to do a better job defending. This is a well-coached experienced team that understands that they need to impose their defensive will early in this contest or it could be a long night. It has certainly been part of the first five games for both of these teams to do the defensive work early. Despite the fact that this series has seen three of the first five games top the total, none of the first five games have reached as much as 100 points scored, while the second half has been wide-open with an average of 111.2 points per game scored. The Spurs are facing a close-out and will bring the defense in the opening stanza. The Thunder will match that intensity behind the home crowd. The Spurs got a lot of ink for winning 20 in a row, and that is a great accomplishment, but what the Thunder have been able to do, they have been doing all season. They won four or more games in a row six times, and will go to make that seven in tonight's contest. Not counting the season finale, they are 9-0 straight-up at home in their last nine, and have not lost a playoffs game here yet this season. They found a take-over guy in Durant down the stretch as well. Play Oklahoma City on the moneyline, and the first half UNDER.
