The Knicks don't have it all together yet (what a surprise), and big man Tyson Chandler is out, sapping their depth and defense. They will need both today against the mighty San Antonio Spurs. JR Smith is back from knee surgery and will come off the bench, but is still rounding himself into playing shape. The Knicks have lost two straight at home, and are 2-5 ATS in their last seven home games. While New York is stumbling, San Antonio is healthy and playing well on a three-game winning streak. The Spurs are 36-15-2 ATS in their last 53 vs. the Eastern Conference. San Antonio has plenty of offensive punch, and is playing great defense out of the gate allowing 93 ppg (second in the NBA). They took on a high flying young offense the last game and shut them down. The Spurs recorded a 76-74 victory over the Golden State Warriors on Friday, and are allowing just 88 points during their winning streak. The value is with the Spurs on the Money-Line (-145).
